Digital Video Recorder & Home Entertainment Discuss, compatibility with stand alone players at International Chat: Hardware related forum; here is the problem , i have a dvd-rw teac W512G and Potex Ritek G04 manufactured by ritek dvd blanks,i burned a couple of discs with it and from 10 discs 3 are with read errors on them and the rest work fine in my dvdrom but not in

compatibility with stand alone players

here is the problem , i have a dvd-rw teac W512G and Potex Ritek G04 manufactured by ritek dvd blanks,i burned a couple of discs with it and from 10 discs 3 are with read errors on them and the rest work fine in my dvdrom but not in a stand alone player,only 3 discs work in a stand alone player,what is the problem???the discs ,the writer,or the compatibility between them???I have tested the writen discs in 2 dvd-stand alone players and the same problem occurs.the blanks dvd are ok,burned with a pioneer dvd-rw they work just fine

What software have you used to burn? (Most probably Roxio).

nero 6.6,i do have now a samsung dvd-rw and they seem to work just fine in a stand alone player
