| Can a home region lock dvd player play all region code movies? Hi all, Very unlucky, brought a LG home thetre system (a code 3 DVD Player + 5.1 speaker), it is sad that i can only play code 3 movies(p/s. i'm in Singapore). Is there any software or ways to let a region lock DVD player play other region code movies (just like PS2 DVD Region free loader)? Thanks. |

| Re: Can a home region lock dvd player play all region code movies? usually on most manufacturers theres a key combination on the remote to "unlock" them (which is usually very obscure and nearly impossible to "guess"). But as for what it is. 1. its model specific 2. I have no clue where to get em they put these in because some dvd players are shipped to different regions and they dont always know where they are going to be shipped upon manufacturing. So instead of having to open them up they just have a code to reset/change them. Like i said i have NO clue where to get em (like i watch any movies outside of region 1 anyways) |

Hi, My LG DVD player model is LH-D6245a, and my old creative DVD Player model which i brought last year during warehouse sales is DP301. Now still looking around the www.videohelp.com for the one which best match my model.  Thanks for the helps. |

| Re: Can a home region lock dvd player play all region code movies? Just try out the guide from videohelp as posted by Neal Hornsby for LG LH-D6230, it works for my LG Home theater LH-D6245 too! But i cannot find any hack for my Creative DP301 yet. Creative DVD Player seems very rare.... Thanks... |
