Why don't you copy the info window contents and paste it here for all those willing to help get just a little bit of useful information?

And what exactly are you trying to do which does not work?
"... and it wont burn." ist absolutely meaningless, and I refuse to help anyone who cannot at least describe the problem in a way other people can understand it.

I will show that cause the movie you have in is region 1, you have to wait untill you copy the movie for the copy to be region free

In response to Tru, if you dont want to help then dont help. No one made you write anything on this bulletin. If you need more information, then ask, dont be rude about it.

Tru is indeed trying to help, but if you don't provide the information as requested, nobody can help. Sometimes patience runs thin, having experienced the same scenario over and over. Your response was not very cordial, if you want assistance try being a bit more diplomatic, it will opon far more doors for you.

Re: It worked for the trial now it doesnt

Let's try something easy and see what happens. Open the DVD drive in explorer and copy the VIDEO_TS folder to the hard drive. If you can do that, it is removing the protection. If you get an error message, please tell us what the message says.

Re: It worked for the trial now it doesnt

I think he's miss-matching regions with anydvd and his drive.

Pinkfairy, forget about what region the disc is, anydvd will sort that out

Re: It worked for the trial now it doesnt

Ok, so sorry for the last comment I made. I am just getting very irritated with this whole thing because I didnt have any of these problems when I had the trial version. I am using ICopyDvds2 as my burning program and I am using AnyDvd for the protection removal. What I'm not understanding isthe Region thing. If the actual movie is region 1 would i keep mine set to region 1? I am in germany, however, I'm not from here and will not be staying here and I just want to make sure that whatever movies I burn I will be able to use anywhere I go. Please help me. I apologize. Below I will show you what the information panel looks like on AnyDvd when I put in a movie.

Summary for drive D: (AnyDVD 5.4.1.1)
Drive (Hardware) Region: 1

Media is a Data DVD.
Booktype: dvd-rom (version 1), Layers: 2 (opposite)

Video DVD (or CD) label: BAM0NNM1
Media is CSS protected!
Video Standard: NTSC
Media is locked to region(s): 1!

RCE protection not found.
DVD structure appears to be correct.
Structural copy protection not found.
Autorun not found on Video DVD.
Bad sector protection not found.
Emulating RPC-2 drive with region 1!

Re: It worked for the trial now it doesnt

In reply to strachan, when I try to copy the dvd with ICopyDvds2 it says the following message:

CSS Message:
This Dvd is encrypted with Content Scrambling System, (CSS) an access control mechanism applied to many commercially available DVD movies. You cannot backup this DVD movie with this software.

Re: It worked for the trial now it doesnt

I meant to do a simple copy and paste from the DVD to the hard drive with AnyDVD running and nothing else. That way you can see if the problem is AnyDVD or your ripping/burning program.

Just an idea: for InterVideo CopyDVD (why don't you use CloneDVD?) you must make sure, that AnyDVD is not running in "Safe Mode". Click "Default" in AnyDVD settings. And leave the region setting to 1, you DO NOT need to change it to 2.

Re: It worked for the trial now it doesnt

So, anydvd works with CloneDVD. I downloaded the trial of CloneDVD and it works. However, that still doesnt explain why AnyDVD wont work with the previous program I used it to work with and it worked just fine. Thanks for your help. I see that the problem was with Slysoft wanting to getmore money.

What do you want...!

A program for free that doesn't work or a program you have to buy, but it works.

Clonedvd & Anydvd is a good combo for coping you movies

+ great support/updates

edit,

Ok, maybe ICopyDvds2 isn't free but you get the meaning

This is bullshit. AnyDVD works with InterVideo DVD Copy. Some other tool is disturbing, or you have changed AnyDVD's default settings.

Re: It worked for the trial now it doesnt

Well, considering it worked with ICopyDvds2 during the trial I want it to continue to work with it after I buy the program. It's misleading.
And it's not bullshit. Nothing else is disturbing it, I have changed nothing since I got it. All settings are on default. What part of nothing has been changed and the same programs are being used do you not understand? Point blank, it worked with my program during the Free trial and now since I actually bought it, it will only work with CloneDVD. Thanks for trying to help though. I figured out the problem.

pinkfairy,
You never did say if you tried Tru's suggestion.
"Just an idea: for InterVideo CopyDVD (why don't you use CloneDVD?) you must make sure, that AnyDVD is not running in "Safe Mode". Click "Default" in AnyDVD settings. And leave the region setting to 1, you DO NOT need to change it to 2."

If you did, and it did not work, please advise the forum what you did do so others may benefit.
