hi. i've been using any dvd with clone dvd to make copies of my dvd collection on my old computer that had windows xp. i just bought a new notebook that has windows vista, and when i went to burn a dvd on it, it said my region codes didn't match. I've read other forums and it said that windows vista 32bit should work fine but i have windows vist 32bit and mine doesn't work. my other problem is i have a matshita driver with windows vista. is there any work arounds to be able to use this new computer with anydvd and clone dvd. thanks.

What version of AnyDVD and CloneDVD are using and have?, Try to read AnyDVD forum to see which version of VISATA compatible then try to upgrade to that version.

The best thing to do is to uninstall the AnyDVD and Clone DVD completely clean registry reboot and reinstall both with latest version as fresh install reboot again and now try to see if the conflict is gone.

Re: windows vista and any dvd

Disable AnyDVD(or uninstall it temporarily) and make SURE the region is set on the drive you're having issues with. You need to go into device manager and check the properties on the drive in question. Once the drive's region is set correctly, then enable or reinstall AnyDVD and you should be good to go. Do NOT try to set the region with AnyDVD active as AnyDVD will tell the OS that it's set when in fact it is not.

No problems with Vista and earlier versions of AnyDVD, let alone the more recent ones.

But I see you said...

I think I've read of problems with those drives and Vista or the Vista/AnyDVD combo.
