Re: Why they may not have updated yet...

No problem with the backing up, worked like a charm. Curious though, my Anydvd/ Clonedvd backup is similiar in size to my DVDFabHD version, but ripit4me is .5g+ larger (3.46g vs. 4.09g). Neither needed compression, any ideas why? I did a deep analysis w/ Shrink on the r4m version even though it didn't require it. Wonder if that had an effect?

My first try with Shrink errored out with MCC004 media, maybe a bad disc.

I'd be willing to bet that if you view the status in AnyDVD 6.1.7.1 beta of a backup you made with RipIt4Me it will likely say there is still Arccos protection, possibly a bogus titleset, and some bad sectors protections.

Re: Why they may not have updated yet...

Wow, nice to see the filesize go down when protection is removed. If you want to change your region to something in particular or do it like RipIt4Me (DVD Decrypter) has, you can use PgcEdit.

Interesting. I did make a backup with Ripit4Me when I was experimenting but my results were quite odd and far different than yours.

Nonetheless, I'm glad to hear it did work so nicely.
