I don't know, you have to ask SlySoft. Probably it is still in testing?

Disable AnyDVD while you copy the IFO files from the DVD.

AnyDVD updated today to 5.2.2.1. It is a big update. I downloaded and it works great. I recommend it to anyone having problems with DVD43Free

Did your automatic update check inform you about a new version? If it did, it is surely no beta.

AnyDVD and "Are We There Yet" (USA) worked fine. I copied movie only, none of the extras.

Re: Are we there Yet (2005) & AnyDVD v5.1.2.1

hmm, i'm not sure if it's the scratches or the protection on this dvd (are we there yet) that's not letting me rip it... it usually stops on the third vob, VTS_01_3.VOB - i'm using latest version of dvd decrypter (yes, with the right settings - ElbyCDIO) and anydvd.

Re: Are we there Yet (2005) & AnyDVD v5.1.2.1

Is this an ARccOS disc? (red in colour) - if so try using another drive, or set AnyDVD to slow your drive down - I had terrible problems ripping ARccOS discs until I slowed my drive down.

Re: Are we there Yet (2005) & AnyDVD v5.1.2.1

I would guess that as AnyDVD has been reported in other posts to remove the protection from this disc, it may be that your disc has a scratch or a manufacturing error. I would do as I suggested above, try it on another drive or try your drive with AnyDVD controlling the speed (slow and quiet) and see how you get on.

If it is a faulty disc all you can do is take it back and get a replacement.

Re: Are we there Yet (2005) & AnyDVD v5.1.2.1

yeah i think it might just be the scratches. i tried doing the psl2plugin if you know of that.. removes the protection (bit of messing about to do) and it says theres no protection on the dvd. *shrugs* i give up. just gonna watch it and that's it.

Did you shut down AnyDVD when you tried the PSL2 plugin for pgcedit? If not, then, yes, it will show no protection.
