I do not support piracy and I do appreciate the updates.
But some of these anti-piracy measures are begining to affect legitimate subscribers adversely.

Will this new version do full dvd of Attack Force?

Why would anyone want to do that???

In order to know if the new protection method used on this movie has been effectively and fully cracked, so they dont use it on a movie that we would care more about.

I don't think hackers could keep up to all the updates that Slysoft makes to AnyDVD. Besides, this update seems to address the sony copy protection issues that many users were facing.

I believe that any modification of AnyDVD will result in a non detection of the dvd drive error or a virus error which is in place to check the registration key's validation.

So as always, hackers beware and users of such, beware also. I don't think that Slysoft would jepordize valuable customers. We're all registered, right? So we have nothing to worry about. Let's just enjoy this great product and be patient when new issues arise.

Slysoft has my money. I guess they need new income to stay alive. I hope they can stop the hackers and tap new money. I guess new income is valuable and very important.

I'm paid, come out with a new version every day, for all I care. If your not, well, you have no say in this.

Just a side note, I once had a copy program that let you copy games, this was back in the floppy disk error. It would let you copy alot of games let me tell you, but one day I actually read the line at the bottom of the screen, and it said "Warning. Do not copy this program." I about crapped my pants. How can a company that makes money backing up other program", not allow you to back itself up. Two sides of the coin.

I don't know... version 6.0.8.5 is the version that started giving me the "No DVD Drive Detected" error... I almost wonder if new protections against hackers were put into that version and that's what started the trouble...

well not matter what ever happens...ppl just need to accept the fact that slysoft is "unfortunately" a great company and updates its software a lot...tisk tisk...LOL

I cant remember an anydvd that ever came out with only a "anti-hacker" update...If so, i can see peoples anger, but if not just stop whining. And to the person that said hackers cant keep up...cracks are usually only made for anydvd when a useful update is released...If the only update is to make it uncrackable it would be wasted time as their would be no reason to use that version thus no reason to hack it...

This latest update is great and does address and defeat a new type of protection as found on sony AF.
and if it blacklists various cracks why should it bother anybody unless.....

This thread is relevant to the update 6.0.9.5... off topic posts should be edited out. If you want an off topic thread or a thread specifically critical of AnyDVD...start a thread with that disclosure and you'll probably be left alone.

Personally, I think Alan's doing a great job keeping threads focused... I don't come to this forum to BS around alot... there are plenty of other forums for that. I'm here looking for some good information.

Don’t you all forget this is a public forum and public media and don't you all dare to advocate ban of free of speech. What are going here are we all here to lose our patient and tolerance for one another?

You people have created a harsh and intolerance atmosphere that people hesitate to bother with this forum of so-called "Any DVD", I hope "The Management" realize it take action. Copy Movie and Game should be top priority at the expense of people being chastised by a few.

Yes The Moderators, Administrators, and so can ban any one or close any thread but not deleting, members comment this preventing freedom of speech and it is censorship.
