Unrecognised DVD's

Hi.
I made an iso image of my need for speed carbon and then burned it back to a blank DVD. The DVD backup is readable by my drive only and not with my friend's drive or any other drive. I use CD burningXP pro latest version and usually keep AnyDVD working in background.

Has anyone got such unreadable DVD's because of using these 2 programs? or is there any problem with my writer? still it does read the backup :P

Re: Unrecognised DVD's

Welcome to CD Freaks.

As you've made a personal backup of your own disk & it works fine on your system then that's all you really need to worry about. Giving a copy to a friend is not exactly legal so really is not something to be discussed on this forum as this is clearly against the rules you agreed to when you signed up.

I agree, but this problem is not limited to lending the game to friends but using it on my laptop or future computer upgrades..

What is the media you're using? The brand and media ID is really needed and is best found using Nero's CD-DVD Speed and the Disc Info tab.
