I just finished copying Fun With Dick & Jane. Get the latest version of anydvd 6.0.1.1. It removes the bad sectors and read errors. Go to the "Settings." Under + "Video DVD" check "show dialog to set video settings for each individual drive." Under - "settings." Check all feature removal tools. Under
-"css keys." Check "use css key archive." Under + "Drives." Check "enable speed control." Make sure each option is set to default. Under + "Program Settings." check "enable anydvd, auto start and safe mode." You should be good to go with Nero Recode, Nero Buring Rom, Dvd Decrypter, Dvd Shrink or any other DVD ripping/burning software. With these settings I didn't have to use DVD43. When decrypting or ripping a protected dvd and not all files are highlighted for example using "dvd decrypter" don't panic. These are the error sectors anydvd is detecting. Simply rip the good/highlighted files. All menus, special features and main movie for " Fun With Dick & Jane" r in tact. An exact copy of the dvd! Enjoy those movies under Sony Home Entertainment that were (past tense) so difficult to copy. Memoirs of a Geisha and The Fog r on my 2do list!
