I downloaded the anydvd trial for1 days and now it's it expired I get the pop up saying the trial has finished, asking me to order or uninstall, so I uninstalled it (taking care to tick yes to keeping any shared files it might delete in the process) but my clonecd wouldn't work - it said 'cannot find elbycheck.exe.' I tried a few things to get clonecd working again - driver updates etc but eventually settled for a system restore. clonecd works fine again but i get the annoying anydvd trial pop up box everytime windows (xp) starts.

How can i get rid of the pop up box at start up without uninstalling?

If the trial is expired, there is nothing you can do. Otherwise, it is normal to see the pop-up box telling you how long you have left.

You have to buy the program or contact support@slysoft.com. There is noone here that can help you with this. Make sure you are downloading the most recent versions.

I don't want to buy the program, or continue with it in any way, I just want to stop it from popping up at start up without uninstalling it as I lose my clonecd files by uninstalling it. Surely there's a way to disable it from starting up?

Just uninstall it and reinstall Clone CD. You do have your activation key backed up right?
