| Re: trying to copy DVDs produced by Philips DVD recorder Sounds to me like the recorder does not write a dvd to real dvd authoring standards and it can only be played on the device that recorded it(?) That would be a protection of sorts. Try what zac said and see if you can get a burn that plays in a regular player. Try it with and without AnyDVD running. Whisperer Edit: Also, maybe this thread should be moved by a mod (better than double posting) to the area of cdf that discusses standalone DVD recorders. Members there would know more about the output of such devices. In this thread area, members mostly do computer based backups of their DVD original pressed disks. | Re: trying to copy DVDs produced by Philips DVD recorder one final thought did the recorder FINALIZE the recording thus enabling it to play on all dvd players? check that out by playing dis in a regular player or PC |
