Trouble w/ 5.9.5.3 install

Just hours ago I went ahead and d/l and installed AnyDVD 5.9.5.3.
Before the install I removed my older version threw the control panel (add/remove) and said NO to keeping my info. (was after a clean install)

Rebooted.

Start , Programs, NO anydvd. Not a big deal, make shortcuts.

But the ONE shortcut that is missing is AnyDVD Ripper.

I do not even see it in the ANYDVD folder, so I am not able to make a shortcut.

I had it at one time, as it says in the change log for 5.9.1.1, 2006 02 15
New: Added "AnyDVD Ripper". This little tool repairs defective DVDs
while copying them to your harddisk. It can be started from the menu of
the AnyDVD fox icon. It can be started as a stand alone application from
the start menu as well

I have unistalled and reinstaled 5.9.5.3 four times now (each time having to make shortcuts)

Can someone please help/explain to me why I am not able to have the AnyDVD Ripper in Start/Programs any longer?

It was handy to have in my programs folder.

Many thanks in advance.

Are you looking for a SlySoft entry in Start / Program view?

If you have already installed one or more of our products you can easily update them by installing the most recent version on top of them. Your computer must be restarted for the updated version to work properly.

Re: Trouble w/ 5.9.5.3 install

Hey Dennis;
Yes I know I can install over top.. I have many times in the past. I was looking for a CLEAN install. (ok so I make things harder then need be sometimes.. lol)

"Are you looking for a SlySoft entry in Start / Program view?"
YES

I had to creat a shortcut folder in windows start menu to have AnyDVD show in START / PROGRAM , and I was stummped to get the AnyDVD Ripper shortcut.

I got it figured out... the short cut that is..
"C:\Program Files\SlySoft\AnyDVD\AnyDVD.exe" -r
