| Re: Trouble purchasing AnyDVD! seems the slysoft guys must have been on holiday or something as i've been deluged with emails from them over the weekend (basically saying "the 2nd purchase worked, here is a copy of your key"). one thing that worries me now (and why i have not bought anydvd before) is that with dvd decrypter etc. being shut down, anydvd has got to be the next target for the mpaa and friends. but slysoft have our details - name, address, credit card, email etc. which is data bound to be seized. where does that leave us - as buying software that is designed to circumvent protection on dvd/cd's....? |

Although I didn't think they'd shut down DVD Decrypter - a sole man living in England, not making any money from it. I expected 321 Studios to get shut down as they are in America, land of the corporation. Quote:
I thought it was more along the line of "the act of copying a DVD is legal, but circumventing protection is not". | ||

| Re: Trouble purchasing AnyDVD! @ Namoh, I believe your question pertaining to purchase options needs to be directed to the fine folks at SlySoft (http://www.slysoft.com). The below Web Link is from the SlySoft WebSite which address your purchase question. http://www.slysoft.com/en/how-can-i-pay-faq.80.5.html Best Regards, bjkg |

| Re: Trouble purchasing AnyDVD! I found that on the Slysoft site, but that would mean you could only buy it with a creditcard? If that would be the truth they miss a lot of income, because a lot of people don't have a creditcard or don't wanna buy through the internet with it. Id on't have a creditcard, but I wanna buy some Slysoft products ..................... as far as I can see it, I (and they) are out of luck. ![]()
