Thunderball - Special Edition - Club CDFreaks

Using AnyDVD 6.0.6.1 trial + DVD Decrypter 3.5.4.0, I am unable to extract an ISO of "Thunderball - Special 007 Edition". DVD Decrypter reports:

W 11:40:28 Failed to read Sector 2103002 - L-EC Uncorrectable Error

(~3000 times after 10 hours on various sectors). These ARCOSS sectors are normally handled by AnyDVD... no? Are there logs I can post that will help resolve this?

PS. Similar issues on "Harold and Kumar go to White Castle" ... I will post those logs at the same time.

Welcome to cdfreaks Shaun I suggest give clonedvd a try as well and see if that helps you get this done. with anydvd and clonedvd you can never go wrong as they are updateing to do all these newer movies. For the record t all I get no commission offering this suggestion either.

Since I am only building ISOs (not burning anything), AnyDVD + DVDDecrypter works fine (99.9% of the time).

I have attached the log for thunderball from DVDDecrypter:

Unless there is a problem with this version of AnyDvD, I made a copy of this a year ago with Ver 4.5.2.1 using the same combo. What is the condition of Thunderball - Special 007 Edition dvd?

You will get a better response if you forward the .ifo files to Slysoft.

Sending them the location of this thread doesn't cut it. Send the IFOs directly to Slysoft as stated or expect no response from them...

I would suspect that you have a "Bad" Source Disc
Inspect the Disc and try cleaning it - even if it doesn't look like it needs it.

If this doesn't prove successful ...
Use the VSOInspector to scan the Disc ( it's Free )
http://www.vso-software.fr/products/.../inspector.php

If the Inspector reports "READ Errors"
Then you'll know that you've come across a "BAD" Source Disc .
I would then suggest that you acquire a different copy
... and compare your results .

You're not having any trouble with other Discs , Right ?
Identifying a "BAD Source Disc" - would save a lot of 'Tail-Chasing" - if that's the case .....

After installing today's 6.0.6.3 release I was able to rip the DVD to ISO with no errors.
