Hi

I tried to make a rip with DVD-Decrypter and Any DVD 5.9.0.0 in background of the new DVD "Stealth" RC2 German from Sony. However DVD-Decrypter always stops at around 3% saying I/O error.

It seems that Sony have once again modified Arcos-Protection on this disk.

1.) Disable AnyDVD.
2.) Copy all .ifo files to harddisk, zip them
3.) Send the .zip file to support(at)slysoft.com

No problems here with version 5.8.4.1 and decrypter with this movie.

I have analysed the IFOs we received (are you the person who send them?), Stealth Region 2 (German) has the same protection as Kaena R2 (German), it should copy fine with AnyDVD 5.8.3.1 or better. We haven't heard any reports from other people either.
I suspect your disc or reader is defective, or AnyDVD is not set up correctly (use default settings). Make sure you setup DVDDecrypter correctly (no-ASPI mode, use SPTI or ElbyCDIO, disable CSS cracking and structure protection removal in Decrypter settings).
