Sound problems when backing up some DVDs

Hi,

I have been using an older version of AnyDVD along with 1ClickcopyDVD to make backups of most of my DVDs without any problems. However, recently I've tried to make backups of a couple of newer titles with no success. I still get a really high quality video, but no sound! When 1ClickcopyDVD finishes I get a message saying to enable Dolby 5.1 English to get audio. When I go to the options menu on the backup copy of the DVD the option to enable 5.1 is either unavailable or does not enable the sound when selected.

Is this some sort of new copy protection? If so, does anyone know how to get around this?

I am not a DVD pirate, I just like to make a usable copy and archive my originals for protection.

This sounds like a 1click problem, you should ask in the 1click forum. You could try elby CloneDVD2, it most certainly will work.

@ DashRock,

Welcome to the Forum.

There is absolutely no advantage of using an old out of date copy of AnyDVD. The current most up to date copy of AnyDVD is a stable, reliable, error free and handles all the most recent copy protection schemes.

Visit Sly Soft (http://www.slysoft.com) and download the most current up to date copy of AnyDVD.

Best Regards,
bjkg
