I think there is newer version of sony's protection
on this disk have managed to copy just the first disc with dvd clone but
1 click dvd 4.2.0.9 and dvd shrink both fail and clone dvd fails with discs 2,3,4

no, Clondvd & Anydvd copied those dvd's for me with no problem

some people have reported problems with the new 1click 4.2.0.9, you can go to their website and get the previous version.

Seinfeld Seas.4 RC2, 4 discs. here is my problem, maybe someone can help me.

disc 1 + 3 work perfekt with DVD Shrink and ANYDVD 5.2.6.1

disc 2 + 4 no chance, Shrink wont open anything.... tried with CloneDVD + AnyDVD and it also wont work

my anydvd was the testing-version and run out, if someone can promise me that the update 5.2.7.1 could fix the Seinfeld problem, I would buy this great program immediately...

Seinfeld Season 4 RC2 has a different Arccos version, which is only partly removed.
An updated AnyDVD version will be available within the next 24 hours.

it appears that Sony ArrCCos is getting better. Perhaps that can change the encryption on each disc? Or maybe they move their encryption to a different part of the disc, each and every new sony arccos is different. I am guessing?

There is only so much that these DVD Manufacture can try and use for encryption copy protection or the DVD will be out of specifications standards and not play in a stand alone desk top DVD player.

I have all the faith in the world that the folks at SlySoft will come through for us and have AnyDVD able to do its magic.

It amazes me that these DVD Manufactures spend millions of bucks to devise these encryption copy protection schemes and in a few hours the folks at SlySoft figure it out and release a new version of the famous AnyDVD software program. I believe shortly that SlySoft will have covered all the bases and no matter what these DVD Manufactures attempt to come up with that the AnyDVD software will have it already beaten.

I have just tried to copy Seinfeld Season 4 Disk 4 R2 (german release)

AnyDVD 5.3.1.1 + CloneDVD 2.8.4.1

I get the following error message in the preview window for titles 9 + 10
Invalid block start code - [PS 10 VOBU 4 16 8 PictureReader]

all other titles show fine in the preview

I have unchecked titles 9+10, clicked the next button twice and then the
go button and got the following message "Creation of DVD files was not
succesful: unexpected error"

Unfortunately you're right. I am not sure who is to blame, but these titles seem to be incorrectly mastered. They hang both ZoomPlayer and Windows MediaPlayer, if I try to view them - even with AnyDVD disabled.

This is strange, because when I try the same I get a fine copy (with titles 9+10 missing, of course). Can you please check again, that you really did disable titles 9+10?

Ok tested it again, I have really unchecked titles 9+10 but get the
"Creation of DVD files was not succesful: unexpected error" message
when pressing the go button

I was able to drag and drop the video_ts folder to the HD using
Windows Explorer and AnyDVD 5.3.1.1 but when trying
to work with the files from the HD I get the same error.

Then I ripped the files with Vobblanker and AnyDVD 5.3.1.1,
with these output files I can work in CloneDVD but I still
have to exclude title 10 and the first chapter of title 9
because they are black only

There might be a difference though, just realized mine is labelled in french....
(épisodes 18 à 24) it contains English, German and French audio

Yes same disc same type of error's when will these error's be fixed I wonder?

under preferences the option to filter unreferred material must be checked!

Good find! I would never have thought of that!
Tip: You should leave the default settings of CloneDVD/AnyDVD alone, they are "default" for a reason...
Maybe it is time to remove "filter unreferred material" checkbox, so people stop playing with it

with that specific version, DVDD is now able to process the whole Seinfeld Season 4 Disc 4 disc to the HD, but DVDShrink is accusing "Invalid DVD structure"
