You can do a movie only copy for now (and keep the menus if you like) or you can wait until Slysoft gets a copy of this disc and updates AnyDVD to fully support it.

Can you give us the process you tried in detail? I was able to copy this movie + menu with CloneDVD and AnyDVD 6.1.1.1.

when i put the dvd in to try and watch it never reads (others do). when i try to burn it can view on screen until you actually hit the burn button then a box pops up searching with a flashlight.......

You backup the movie only until an update is released, that is the reason you bought the movie, to watch it , and you can backup a movie only copy easiliy enough with AnyDVD and CloneDVD2 in movie only mode using AnyDVD 6.1.0.7. Patience please.

i cant pull up anything to copy at all. I have been using this software for a while but not sure how to do a movie only if i cant read the disk

AnyDVD 6.1.1.1 is a beta. Use AnyDVD 6.1.0.7 the offical release.

Ok, so you're having problems just playing the original. That sounds like a bad disc to me. If you're not even able to play the original, you're not going to be able to back it up.

I would ordinarily agree with you, but, when I tried 6.1.0.7 with this title I was not successful in any kind of backup. When I updated to 6.1.1.1 I was able to do a movie + menu backup. Other's experience might be different.

You wait for a few and they have always come out with an update. You can easily do a movie only.

You can't read the disc either? That seems rather bad for the two of you. Bad batch of discs maybe? Can you play it with AnyDVD disabled? Not backup...simply play it.

I cancelled that, unselected all titles except the main movie and preserve menus option, and I was able to back it up at that point.

dissabled anydvd. now when i try and run intervideo it erors, but interactual player works now. before niether would even read.

ok, im just a newbie on this site so i must ask do i get the update from the slysoft site and if so will it be an update just for that movie or a full upgrade update?

Until there is an update this is the best solution using Anydvd and Clonedvd2 (for those who want the menus and extras):

I have backup this movie in " Movie Only " Mode. Using CloneDVD2, AnyDVD 6.1.0.7 and beta 6.1.1.1. All of you do own the original right? So watch that until Slysoft releases an update. It won't be long, I assure you.

Intervideo? As in WinDVD? What error do you get when you try to play it with that? But interactual () player works with AnyDVD disabled? Interesting. What version of AnyDVD? And did you try my suggestion of cancelling the "Fix dvd structure" box and unselecting all titles except the movie and the preserve menus checkbox(if you want menus)?
