Trying this currently, stalled while reading at 9% using my HP 840i. Switching to the Lite-On 165H6S as the reader, will report back.

Thank you. I wish I had some DL discs to try it out with. I suppose I could read it as an image and mount it. That'd tell me something.

Re: saw3

Same deal, stalled out at 9%. Guess we'll have to wait...opps, there it goes. Reading at speed again. Report back in a bit.

I'm using my external lite on and it "paused" at 9%, as well, but, it's so far up to 25% reading the image so who knows. When it's done I'll mount it and see how it does.

Re: saw3

I'm stalled again at 95% and it doesn't look like it's coming out of this one. So it may have to be movie only for now or wait out a new version of AnyDVD.

The same for me. I'm gonna let it run for a bit, but, it's not looking too good.

Re: saw3

Ripped Saw 3 to a Verbatim DVD+R DL and plays movie and shows extras on my standalone. Can use what is described here or Ripit4me.
DVDFab3.0.6.0 failed.

Re: saw3

Bah! Calling it at 96%. Guess I'll wait for an update, even if it does complete the process at this point, it's hard to say what kind of issues it may have, not going to waste a DL on it. We'll probably see an update by friday if they are true to form.

I killed mine at 95% as it wasn't getting anywhere. I agree that it's best to wait for an update for a DL copy. The SL copy I did of just the menu and movie worked fine.

DVDFab3.0.6.0 failed.

Ripit4me has failed to as I tried that too. So looks like a wait is indeed needed here.

I didnt look at whole rip so, did everyone else who got complete rip with RipIt4Me also get alot of blanksed VTS? And if so are we missing anything important? Maybe dumb question but I have to ask..lol.
Those are one of the ways of copyright-protecting the discs and they only contain 'junk' data, that's why they are blanked. Nothing will be missed, in fact blanking out any of this junk will leave more space so less compression will be necessary when running it through CloneDVD2, DVD Shrink, etc.
