Like i said there is WS and FS versions of Region 1. He might need both.

I used clonedvd 2903 and anydvd 6107. First I had a dvd structure problem and clonedvd was trying to fix it or repair the dvd structure-It got up to 9% and stayed at that for a while. I hit cancel. I was able to make a backup of just the movie with no extras and it worked okay!

usually, how long before an update is released for a problem dvd like this? 24-48 hours or longer? just wondering when to check for an update.

There is a lot of pointer corruption in the IFOs (VTS 15-99). I mentioned this earlier in this thread.

Hopefully, Slysoft will get it fixed eventually.

I tried/ confirmed all the other failures reported


... but I'm currently burning the RW from AnyDVD/ CloneDVD2
AnyDVD6.1.1.1 'RemoveAdverts"=DISabled
CloneDVD2 = preserve menus
Deselect = Blank/error files + Preview + Warning screens +trailers
Kept Movie/Extras/Lionsgate Logos

Plays perfect

When selecting the 'notorious' blank title-sets
CloneDVD complains about 'structure' > "pop-up" > 'trying to repair'
Cancel the "repair" and UNCheck the Title-set

It worked

Has anyone tried a CloneCD/AnyDVD dual layer back up of this disc yet? I'd try it but I don't have any blank DL's left at the moment. Just curious if it works.

Yes ,
Starts with LionsGate Logo > Menu > Play movie
All extras etc work

Just deselect the 'offending' title-sets

It's playing as we speak

I'll try that in a few trying with DNC now and it seems to be doing the job just hitting copy.It messed up on the last 2 minutes of copying with this proggy so off to clonedvd2 again to try shannon's method.

I can verify that a movie only back up with preserve menu option also seems to work with CloneDVD and AnyDVD 6.1.1.1.

All the ones I have seen are within 24-48, mostly next day. There are fast here. If there's an update it should pop up a box like always once you open the program.

In this case, in the AnyDVD 6.1.1.1(beta) thread, James said he'll probably need to wait to get the disc before AnyDVD can be updated. He has the IFOs but apparently that won't be enough.
