(3) restart Clone DVD,
(4) un-check the file from the list
(5) repeat this process as needed

This one has been annoying.....
You don't need to 'restart' CloneDVD2 ....

When you receive the 'Trying to Repair" Pop-Up = Cancel the 'Repair'
and - Just Deselect ( UNCheck ) the 'offending' title-sets

AnyDVD6.1.1.1 'RemoveAdverts"=DISabled
CloneDVD2 = preserve menus
Deselect = Blank/error files + Preview + Warning screens +trailers
Kept Movie/Extras/Lionsgate Logos

Plays perfect Viewed the Entire disc

When selecting the 'notorious' blank title-sets
CloneDVD complains about 'structure' > "pop-up" > 'trying to repair'
Cancel the "repair" and UNCheck the Title-set

What CloneDVD are you using? Hopefully the correct one (elby CloneDVD2).

Shannon 90210
Thanks for the clarification. Am going to try your approach "to the letter" and will report back; hopefully soon, and hopefully with some good news.

It's sad that all of the posts regarding alternate viable solutions have been deleted. We are just trying to provide the OP with a solution to his/her question and not flame AnyDVD. Actually, I think AnyDVD is a great progam and I also own a liscence. I will state again to those who are concerned. Until AnyDVD is updated to allow for full disc backup of Saw III RipIt4Me can be used.

Re: saw3

Im just going to wait for the new version of AnyDVD to come out. AnyDVD should work with any recorder, and should remove/correct any bad VOB files that are bad. We should be able to use the abundant toolsets available on DVD's ripped using AnyDVD.

As I stated, I do not use clone CD,and do not own a copy of it. AnyDVD should and has been a great product to correct specific disks and the problems associated with them. This new approach used by lions gate is obvious a ver difficult product to handle. I hope to see a working version in the near version, as for the beta as also been noted not to work.

You will not have to wait long, as long as you bought the movie to backup, everyone will be able to do it very soon. Watch the movie on your original and AnyDVD will be available very soon to make your backup. Thankyou for your patience.

I think that this one may call for an update to Clone as well as Any.
Take note on the selection screen.
The order of the titlesets is pretty out there.
I wonder if this coincides with how Shannon got it to work.
Shannon, if you can, would you note the number of the titlesets that you DEselected in Clone?!

Thanks.

(PS-Though I know many of you from other places...HI!)

Hello Dude

By the time we get this movie in the UK (end Feb) all this will be fixed. Having said that there have been movie causing problems stateside but when they are released in UK there is no where near the same amount of bad authoring added to the movies

Hey this is one interesting thread....is this version of SAW so off spec that it is messing everything up? It is interesting that the makers seen to have not monkied with the movie so much....people here can back it up. The the rest of the DVD is a mess....what has been done to the structure exactly?
