Strange, with Talladega Nights (US) there is no problem (AnyDVD & elby CloneDVD2).

T Nights, R1 (all its versions) were different corruption to Saw 3. And to prove how unimportant we are downunder, R4 was CSS protected only

BTW: Pick yourself up a copy of Open Season, too. It is very similar to Saw 3 - over 2,000 uncalled PGCs and bad pointers galore.

Regards

sorry but I beg to differ with you

look back on this form and you will see there was a lot of action on talladega nights, not working properly, it may have been different from saw 3 ,but there were problems

Re: saw3

TO SLYSOFT:
There seems to be a similar protection on the German dvd "Die Chaoscamper". It has over 90 VTS's.

Here a link to german (sorry!!!) forum.
I know that there are some guys at slysoft who can speak german.
It seems to work with the new fixvts.

Re: saw3

The movie will be relased in Region 1 on Tuesday. I am sure any problems that users might encounter will be addressed by then. There are different protections in different regions ( sometimes), it might take a day or two but AnyDVD will be on top of it as they always have been.

Re: saw3

My 1st back up was full disc (R1 Full screen) and I too got stuck on one spot I decided to delete that file ( I think it's a preview plus last 3 files). It went just fine. But now it couldn't be played on home DVD player but I can play it back on pc but it took awhile to read. I decided to back up just movie only. Now it can be play back on home DVD player.

Re: saw3

Try Anydvd 6.1.1.1 or later

1. The best way to rip using Anydvd is to use Clonedvd2. If you can't or are not willing to do that, this is how you rip using Anydvd:

2. With the latest version of Anydvd running, drag and drop the video_ts folder to your desktop using Windows Explorer. Alternatively, you don't need to rip at all and can just directly import the disc into whatever burning application you want, provided Anydvd is running in the background. You don't necessarily need to rip first at all. Not having to rip first at all is one major advantage of using Anydvd.

3. If you can't get what you want using #1 and #2 first, then you right click on the fox icon on your toolbar and select rip video-dvd to hard disk--but only if methods 1 and 2 fail first. This method uses an old version of FixVTS, which is often not required.

Seems to me many people are using Anydvd ripper first. If people aren't going to be ripping to iso, they might as well be trying Clonedvd2 first instead.

It seems that to many people do not understand the real purpose of this tool. You are right AnyDVD, CloneDVD2, anyone can try it for free.
