Safe mode

Ican copy ntsc films, but am unable to copy pal films, spoken to people and the only diference in settings is that 'Safe Mode' is ticked and greyed out, is this a Win ME settings problem. Anydvd 3.6.1.1 Clonedvd 1.3.11.2. Please reply, having a nightmare. Cheers

Windows 98/ME don't have / need this "safe mode", so this is perfectly normal. Apart from this - no idea. CloneDVD does NTSC & PAL just fine.

How do i get rid of SAFE MODE,it is greyed out and will not let me deselect it, is there something in my WIN ME settings causing this?

Windows 98/ME don't have / need this "safe mode", so this is perfectly normal.
It is "always safe", and all programs work as well. Safe Mode is only required on Windows 2000/XP.
