| Questions re deleting/installing AnyDVD Hey folks; During the last week I have been struggling trying to install the latest AnyDVD update. First time I have had this problem, as I have performed many previous updates. Today when I downloaded the update successfully, I double clicked on my reg key which told me to "restart" AnyDVD, which I tried after restarting my computer. When I double clicked on my AnyDVD red fox, it turned grey, but did nothing more. For awhile I was unable to download the update, however, I now can. Was receiving an error message for "opening file for writing". Specific Questions: 1. I have my registration key on my desktop - is this ok or will it foul up future downloads for AnyDVD? 2. Have tried to delete AnyDVD in Program Files, however, when I try I receive an error message "access denied". Could this be a problem with my user account? Thanks in advance; Paul |

| Re: Questions re deleting/installing AnyDVD It maybe your user account or you might've forgotten to disable autostart in AnyDVD that is "running" when you try to delete it.

| Re: Questions re deleting/installing AnyDVD Hi Paul, Please, try the following: 1. Make a copy of your AnyDVD license key. (Good to have it in a safe place). 2. Check whether AnyDVD is running: "Start">"Run">type: msconfig. If it is running, uncheck the box and restart Windows. 3. Uninstall AnyDVD. 4. "Start">"Run">type: regedit. In regedit: "Edit">"Find">type : AnyDVD. Erase (but be careful) all AnyDVD hits. 5. Restart the computer. 6. Install AnyDVD's newest version. Apply the license key. I hope you will succeed. Good luck.
