Questions about menus and burn speed - Club CDFreaks

Ok I'm a newbie so ....I am having problems with 2 movies that will not automatically start with the menu screen. You have to push play or menu to get the DVD to start. I am using clone 2.8.5.1 and anydvd 5.6.3.1 and have a lite on 1633 burner. I always use verbatim media. The 2 movies are The Island and Madagascar. I have preserve menus enabled in Clone...so what am I missing?

For starters, update AnyDVD. Don't know if this is a fix, but being current is often the critical variable.

Also, don't burn at the maximum speed of the media. Slow it down with CloneDVD's burn speed selector.
