AnyDVD Discuss, Process Guard and AnyDVD at Copy Movie forum; Do theses apps not work on the same pc? Ever since I've installed AnyDVD on my PC I get blue screens at random and frequent, causing a hard reset. If I set Process Guard to disable the crashes stop, and note that I have given AnyDVD.exe full access

Process Guard and AnyDVD

Do theses apps not work on the same pc?

Ever since I've installed AnyDVD on my PC I get blue screens at random and frequent, causing a hard reset. If I set Process Guard to disable the crashes stop, and note that I have given AnyDVD.exe full access in Process Guard. For the time been Process Guard is set to disabled.

AnyDVD v: 6.0.6.3 Trial
ProcessGuard v: v3.410 Full Retail

Anim8 -

It has been discussed on numerous occasions that some overly invasive poorly written software programs like some Anti-Virus, Trojan Prevent Programs and the like can and will interfere with the proper functioning of the AnyDVD Software Program.

Your complaint is actually that your overly invasive poorly written ProcessGuard software program is malfunctioning and interfering with the proper functioning of the AnyDVD Software program. Suggest contacting DiamondCS (http://www.diamondcs.com.au/processguard) and informing them that that their ProcessGuard software program is malfunctioning. If they can’t fix their overly invasive poorly written ProcessGuard software program suggest demanding a full and total refund.

Re: Process Guard and AnyDVD

I updated to the new version .7 and the crashes have stopped now. This is with both enabled.

zag: it wasn't just when i was ripping/burning, just when AnyDVD was running.
