Has anyone had problems w/ ver 6.0.8.0? Update yesterday and now computer locks-up everytime I insert a DVD. I unistalled it, reinstalled 6.0.7.0 and worked fine. Reinstalled 6.0.8.0 and again computer locks-up. Been using AnyDVD since ver 5.1.1.1 and never had any problems before.

Try using " Safe Mode" and see what happens

Yes right click on the Little Red Fox in the taskbar and go the Program settings Tab. You will see it. Put a check in the box that says " Safe Mode" Then reboot.

I was able to duplicate this problem using AnyDVD 6.0.8.0 DVDs with bad sectors on them like Sony movies. Slysoft may fix this problem on there new build.

Thanks all for the input. I may contact Slysoft about this. Probably just use ver 6.0.7.0 for now.

No, I cannot reproduce this with Sony or Ripguard protected movies.

Sounds like a bad download to me...

Neither can I, and I used all Arcoss protected discs, 5 of them and not 1 problem.

Would the 'log' setting enabled help Slysoft fix the problem? I don't have AnyDVD installed on this computer so I can't check, but what does it log exactly? It may make it easier for Slysoft to fix problems i.e. crashes, freezes etc.

But I've never seen anyone try that function. Wouldn't it be better to help catch the problem?
