Problems with Superman Returns

Has anyone else been able to backup a copy of Superman Returns?

I'm using "AnyDvD version 6.0.8.8" and " 1Click DVD copy 5".
I have AnyDvD in Aggressive I/O mode ticked on.

It get's to about 48% done and then stops, says Skipping Bad Sector.

Can you try CloneDVD2 and post error messages? Can you post AnyDVD info window?

Re: Problems with Superman Returns

This movie only has CSS protection. LIChamp15, try clean the dvd and check for scratches. If that dont work then you have a defective disc. I backup thisd movie without problems.

You might also want to check that 1click's CPRx feature is disabled (right click on the 1click interface and make sure there is no tick next to the "enable CPRx error correction" at the bottom.

Having this enabled and using AnyDVD could cause a conflict

No problems here either, the disc played great. Some discs are just bad source discs, try another.

LIChamp15,

You can use VSO Inspector to check the condition of the original disc.

Try this http://club.cdfreaks.com/showpost.ph...&postcount=157.

Also check the aggressive mode too.

Re: Problems with Superman Returns

As calcu007 has already stated, this movie has no extra copy protection.
If you are having problems copying this movie, it's most likely that it's dirty, scratched, or defective.

You don't need to buy CloneDVD to get this movie done........

Re: Problems with Superman Returns

I'm having a problem for the first time. I tried to make a backup copy of SUPERMAN RETURNS but it was not possible, I am getting the following error message:

"Error 1: This DVD is ecrypted. 1ClickDVDCopy cannot copy ecrypted DVD movies. If you are using a decrypter, you may need to restart it before using 1ClickDVDCopy."

I am using the latest versions of both 1ClickDVDCopy and AnyDVD.

I restarted the computer, it didn't work. The commercial DVD is brand new and in perfect shape.

What should I do?

Go into the settings in AnyDVD and check I/O Aggressive Mode " and all your problems will be solved.

Marcial: I backed this movie up fine with anydvd & clonedvd2. If you havent already used up your free trial of clonedvd2, I would try that untill you get some other answers.

I tried that option, alas, it worked beautifully.

Dr. Who, that's exactly what the link you gave me is recommending.

Thanks to both of you.
