I have one title that AnyDVD 5.6.1.1 can 't handle at all(Stealth Region 2 Greece), and three more that when opened in DVD Shrink or Nero Recode with AnyDVD running on the background, they give strange results(tiny audio tracks, uncompreassable main movie)...

Try this method Here using DVD Decrypter and AnyDVD v.5611

I was able to back-up all of this titles, using DVD Decrypter, the .psl plugin of PgcEdit and FixVTS...
I published the files, only to inform the developers about this new title that AnyDVD 5.6.1.1 can 't seem to handle(Stealth Region 2 Greek)...

Thanks about your reply, but i think that if AnyDVD can 't handle on its own this title, then your method will make no difference...

Glad you were successful in your backups.

Did you try the freeware app. DVDFab Decrypter? I have not heard of problems in other regions with it...so you may want to give it a try if you need a one click app.

PSL's are certainly one way to go if you are literate in their use, which you obviously are.
As you know, FixVTS is a relatively new app. by Jeanl and I have not had the opportunity to use it yet.

AnyDVD must need to be reworked to function in your region. I hope they get the information you posted to address the problem.

Yes, i tried DVDFab Decrypter 2.9.6.2, with Stealth Region 2 Greek, with no success...
The main movie gets unreferenced...

The newest version of FixVTS fixes the DVD Shrink bug(uncompressable main movie, tiny audio tracks), by remapping the VCIDs so that the Cell IDs are in consecutive order and start at 1. The VIDs are not modified.

I suppose this is useful, regardless the ripping program you use, if you want to use DVD Shrink afterwards...

Sony has moved a step further with copy protections.

Any dvd CSS free etc wont do!

Create your own PLS files (guides are spread allover the net) import them to DVDD and off you go!!

I only re-uploaded the Stealth files, because that was the only title, v.5.6.1.1 could not handle at all...

The other titles, are handled by AnyDVD, but suffer from the so called DVD Shrink/Nero Recode bug...(uncompressable main movie, tiny audio tracks)...
This bug is easily solved by remapping the VCIDs, so the Cell IDs are in consecutive order and start at 1, as performed by FixVTS...

I have added sorting of VOBU admap and Cell admap, although I am not certain if this is a requirement of the DVD specification or if it is a Nero Recode / DVDShrink bug which they should fix. As I don't think that sorting should cause any undesired side effects, and because DVDShrink is dead software and will never be updated, I have added this change.
Please let me know, if this version fixes your problems.

It is a problem/bug of the opening/fast analysis of DVD Shrink and Nero Recode...
...as you probaply heard the two programs have the same developer...


DVD Shrink(and probaply Nero Recode 2), makes the following checks, during its opening analysis...

There's a FixVTS program out there that'll also do the remapping and is required for rips from other software, as well. This should only be necessary for DVD Shrink and Recode. It's nice to see that Slysoft is on top of things. Good job, James!

Hi when do you create a new version of clonedvd??? it is stuck in the version 2.8.5.1 for many months. and how soon do you update the anydvd program in slysoft site???? the new clonedvd(if you create a new one when we can downloaded)?????

Thank you. But it is sad, that Recode and Shrink are not on top of things at all. It is tiresome to fix other people's bugs.

It is not so much a bug...
...rather a way to quick analyze the DVD in a few seconds...
Probaply, someone @$ony, figured out a way to mess with those programs and intentionally implemented this irregularity in the IFO structure...

With the deep analysis step performed, the files were correctly identified by DVD Shrink...

Stealth Region 2 Greek seems to be working fine, with the new version, according to a couple of greek users...

Of that I have little doubt. Recode seems to have quite a few when it comes to dvd structural issues. I'd expect that from DVD Shrink given how old it is and that it's no longer being updated, but, you'd think Nero would have a vested interest in fixing Recode. [sarcasm]I'm beginning to think having Recode as part of the Nero suite is simply a checkbox item for them.[/sarcasm]
