Okay...as a newbie to this forum, I'm not sure where this goes as I use ANY DVD for copy protection removal AND 1 Click DVD for compression.
I needed to get a new system as my older Gateway crashed including frying the motherboard. I've been using HP DVD 740e and BENQ 1655 and writers.
I've reinstalled both 1 Click and ANY DVD and everything from removal of copy protection to actual compression has gotten ridiculously slow! (Up to 2 hours for a 90 minute DVD!)
I've done everything from turn off anti virus and turn off my firewall and close down my cable internet connection while going through the process of ripping and burning movies. Keep in mind that I've got about 200 movies that I've processed this way.
The latest attempt has been with the fairly new release "FREEDOMLAND" of course a SONY movie.
I get the PREVIEWS and the main title screen but that's about it.
Any ideas?

you haven't stated program versions...either way, anydvd users did not have problems with freedomland so if you have the latest version of anydvd (check www.slysoft.com) then there's some other issue.

have you tried backing up up with another transcoding program other than 1 click?

also, do you get any error messages, or is it just the missing movie on the output that clues you in?

have you tried it on different standalone players? different pcs?

as far as your slowness problem, have you made sure DMA is enabled for all of your opitcal drives?

Thank you for such quick feedback. The version of ANYDVD is 6.0.1.1 The version of 1 Click is 4.2 (That's all it says).
I get no error messages and I haven't tried backing up with another program other than 1Click. Other than 1 Click- what would you suggest and would it be compatible with ANYDVD?
(the other DVD's I made are working fine-its just this one movie!).

You should have no trouble with the title ,
with the current AnyDVD- 6.0.1.1
and the current 1Click - 4.2.9.13

To check your version of 1Click
Open 1Click >> F2 = Reg Entry ;
The version will be listed at the top of the Reg Window

or .... for an older version of 1Click ,
Click the " ? " on the 1Click interface


Tell me the version you are presently using ,
and I'll suggest how to proceed with updating , if necessary
