Problem with making backup!

I've been using AnyDVD and CloneDVD for about three months. I have backed up about one hundred movies. AnyDVD and CloneDVD are awesome. No problems what so ever... until just now. I tried to backup the french movie "Amelie". The original disk has a few scratches but it plays fine in both of my DVD players. But when I put it in my NEC-ND3520 (with latest firmware) my system seems to be confused. The light on my DVD drive remains on for as long as the disk is in. My system slows way down. I can't even play the DVD on my computer. AnyDVD doesn't even recognize that a disk is in the drive. CloneDVD won't open it. I realize that it is not really a problem with AnyDVD or CloneDVD because my system reacts the same way to the DVD with AnyDVD disabled. Has anyone tried to put this movie in their computer. Again, I've put over 100 movies in my computer and have never had a problem. This is a French movie by Miramax and it is NTSC region 1 (I'm region 1). Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Re: Problem with making backup!

OK, so much for my very first post on cdfreaks. If I could remove it all together I would. I just got the bright idea to insert Disk 2 the Bonus Disk. It works just fine. Obviously the scratches on Disk 1 are worse than I thought. Can these posts be removed?
