AnyDVD 1.4.1.1 and DVD-Audio

Pobably a seldom problem but still a prolem:

The latest AnyDVD 1.4.1.1 still has the problem that Audio DVDs (not Audio CDs) are NOT left alone by it (short grayed out fox when an Audio DVD is inserted)

as a consequence: when I start Creative Mediasource DVD-Player on a DVD-Audio it does not produce any sound

everything is fine if I disable AnyDVD before I start Mediasource DVD-Player

Windows XP Sp1, Toshiba 1712 with region free firmware, Audigy 2 Platinum with latest Creative drivers and applications (like DVD-Player)

wouldn't it make sense to disable AnyDVD for drives with DVD-Audios inserted like it is for CD-Audios?

It would make sense, sure. Does this DVD has a VIDEO_TS folder with VIDEO_TS.IFO?
Does it play something on Video DVD Player?

the Audio DVD is Steely Dan "Two against Nature"

has a VIDEO_TS folder with a WIDEO_TS.IFO (and of courese a huge AUDIO_TS folder) but PowerDVD 5 says "disc with unsupported format" when I attempt to play it with a Video player

AnyDVD crack help

I'm a moron who doesn't know how to read rules. I've also been warned that more talk about piracy will result in me getting banned.

I didn’t intend to ruffle any feathers with my post. It would take days to read all threads as well as do's and don'ts. It won't happen again; I apologize for breaking this sites rule, please forgive me.

Sony DVD 510A Disney Movies

Setup
XP Service Pack 2
Sony DVD RW 510A latest drivers from Sony
Sony MPD-AP20U

With the 510A Drive, the computer does not recognize that I have a DVD movie in the drive if it's from Disney. All other movies work just fine.

The same Disney movies when using my external Sony drive appear just fine on the same computer.

Re: Sony DVD 510A Disney Movies

What is the version of AnyDVD you employ?

(Eredeti a Disney film vagy másolt?)

Re: Please post your AnyDVD Questions here

Is this copy protection?

Trying to backup "Ned Kelly" DVD movie and CloneDVD2 and AnyDVD errors and complains about unreadable sectors at 48%.

For kicks, tried DVDDecrypter and it too stops at 48% leading me to believe it is not CloneDVD2 but AnyDVD hitting some kind of copy protection?

I'm new to this so please excuse me if this is nothing new.

All 3 programs are the latest versions available, AnyDVD has been tried with and without the "bad sector" option ticked.

System is an AMD Athlon 2500+, Win2k SR4, LiteON 812s.

Any help or ideas would be appreciated.

Sounds more like scratches or dirt on your disc - have you tried cleaning it? Also try running a cleaning disc through your reader. If you have a second DVD reader, try using it.

Re: Please post your AnyDVD Questions here

Just bought lastest version of SlySoft after trial period lapsed. Been using it with CopyDVD Platinum with great results. Never got it to work with trial DVD Clone.
Anyway, first try after buying it was Scooby Doo 2.. I got the blue screen, and then was unable to access my file manager at all (got blue screen). I removed the driver the blue screen pointed to (CDVSD.VDX) and everything is ok except the computer does not acknowledge my CD Player, CD Recorder or DVD recorder. Can't find CDVSD.VDX anywhere on the internet. Microsoft site has my blue screen error message on it and says it will send me the file for $35 which I think is ridiculous. I can't find the file on my Windows98 install disk, either.
HELP!

Re: Please post your AnyDVD Questions here

Found in CDFreaks.com:
"JoeSoap
Cdvsd.vxd is in windows/system/iosubsys check the version of this, possibly something you installed has overwritten this. If you have access to another pc with 98se copy and replace the file if necessary."

Re: Please post your AnyDVD Questions here

If cleaning does not help, then you may try this "extraordinary" method:

A don't quite apprehend the idea, but it is said to be working.

Re: Please post your AnyDVD Questions here

Thanks Agent.

I was leaning that way also but the fact that it played in a non-PC player (Sony set top box) made me think it was copy protection.

I appreciate the help.

AnyDVD and FBI warnings and menus

probably been discussed before, but I found nothing on this. As I realize when I configure AnyDVD to skip adverts and trailers, when I insert the copied movie in my standalone it starts directly at the movie. If I untick this feature, the dvd starts with the menu. But when I press play, it goes to the fbi warning screen and rating screen. What I actually want it to do is to skip the warning screens and rating screens and start at the menu when I insert the disc in the player.

I have been evaluating the current versions of anydvd and clonedvd2 and I must say that they're the best combination I've tried so far. Hat's off to Elby and Slysoft.
