The Plague Region 2 Greek and AnyDVD 6.0.8.0

There is a new protection scheme, as found in "The Plague Region 2 Greek",
that AnyDVD 6.0.8.0 does not seem to handle...

The main new feature of this scheme, is the presence of bad sectors only at the end of the main movie VTS, and not at the beginning...
...as with every other ARccOS title previously released...

AnyDVD does not identify any protection scheme(as presented in the information window)...
RipIt4Me 1.5.1.0 handles this title just fine...

IFOs were sent to Slysoft support..

Haven 't had time to test previous releases with the new version...
Due to work, i 've been out of town a lot, the past 2 months...
It is difficult to test anything when you are 1000 miles away from your pc, most of the time...

Again, I am very jealous. Why can't Region 4 get new protections! We're lucky to even get ARccOS!

Sorry, I took the liberty to go on holidays for two weeks, so it took a little longer than usual. AnyDVD 6.0.8.2 covers this protection.

Re: The Plague Region 2 Greek and AnyDVD 6.0.8.0

I thought I recently saw a statement from their website that DVD Region+CSS Free won't be updated as frequently as it was prior (which wasn't that much to begin with), but can't remember where I seen that.
I'll look for it.

Oh I see they just updated on 10/26...before that it was in August, total of 8 or 9 this year.
AnyDVD updates two to three times each month as new encryption statergies come out.
Just my two cents.........
