opto disc ... I just backed up 300 and zodiac and they were fine.

Try using Tayio Yuden discs when that happens or just switch over to TY's for problem free discs.

i find it kinda hard to back-up dvds which arent going to be released until july 24th (number 23 and zodiac) and july 31st (300).

well i guess this is in the U.S.. what region are you in?

What program are you using to compress the DVD (if you are). Change to Verbatim or Ty.

I had no problem at all with this movie. There are 2 versions on this movie Theatrical and Unrated version. Full disc back up US version.
