| Re: No DVD drive Unistall both, then use regedit (if confident) to remove program references. If you're not cofident with process then download the regcleaning freeware here: http://www.jv16.org/ Shut down your machine then restart. Load Anydvd again followed by Nero and see if that makes a difference.

| Re: No DVD drive aeminger, Welcome to cdf. Don't know your level of expertise. Don't fool around in the registry unless you know what you are doing. Just uninstall AnyDVD completely. Don't use the Windows "Add/Remove Programs" method. Use the uninstall routine that is provided by AnyDVD under Start/Programs/. Be sure you have saved your key to diskette first. At the end of the uninstall, you get a dialog-box that asks you if you want to remove all traces of AnyDVD ... not sure of the exact dialog text. Click "yes". Reboot. Reinstall AnyDVD. Reboot. Apply the key. Reboot. Don't cheat on the reboots. If you still have a problem, reapply the key a second time. Whisperer |

| Re: No DVD drive @ aeminger, Welcome to the Forum. I totally agree with Forum Member Whisperer1 comments concerning The Windows Registry. Unfortunately Nero is noted for its ability to alter the Windows Registry UpperFilters and LowerFilters values. If the suggestions provided by Forum Member Whisperer1 do not correct your problem suggest viewing the below Web Link to the Microsoft Support Web Site that explains the problem in great detail. http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;[LN];314060 Best Regards, bjkg |
