newbie: ignoring crc error...

Hi,
I'm a newbie - so please bear with me.

Using AnyDVD and CloneDVD2 I would like to back up my Godfather DVD discs. The discs works fine when played in my DVD-player, but CloneDVD aborts and reports an error due to CRC error (which I think is caused by a scratch on DVD surface).

Is there a way to let AnyDVD and/or CloneDVD2 (or another tool) ignore such an error and continue with the copying?

You can do this with DVD Decrypter - it's in the settings. There are 2 settings to change: Under I/O Tab set software read retries to 0 & under Device tab set hardware read error retries to 0.
