| Re: New Version AnyDVD 5.8.4.1. James just doesn't like the competition. ROFL! In my opinion, and apparently James', as well, those products were inferior to CloneDVD. They overcharged badly for their product, as well. And then they were forced out of business for violating the dreaded DMCA. |

| Re: New Version AnyDVD 5.8.4.1. DMCA: Dubious Menace from the Cinamatic Alliance. Hope to see it overturned when Washington isn't Texas anymore. More sensible legislation could be writen that would protect established fair use legal precedent (instead of trying to negate fair use from outside of Judicial precedent), protect the livelihood of the artists, and still provide enough profits to satisfy corporate greed. I don't like 321 Studios as an entity, but i liked the final original DXC 1.5.2. All their later products were unworthy of investment and resulted in the development side of the company's degeneration. Many laugh about the later products, and I join them, but 1.5.2 worked. But, I migrated, like many who didn't want to go the freeware route, to CloneDVD. CloneDVD was originaly conceived of as a trancoder for compressing movies onto one disk. I simply missed a few DXC features when Clone added splitting. But enough of this, it's 2006 now ... and I don't want to make James sick. I'm hot to see the final, new AnyDVD, CloneDVD, and the updated .dll added to CloneCD show up on the slysoft site. Honor is due to all those who are beta testing. | Re: New Version AnyDVD 5.8.4.1. I just hope people dont start ever hating DVD shrink, as there is a remarkable piece of software. And for the maker to offer this for free. Simply amazing. |
