Need Info

I have been using dvd cloner II for over a year with great results. I just updated to dvd cloner III. I ran across a movie The Brothers Grimm that simply wont read. I have only run across a coulple of titles that I can't back up. How does the any dvd thing work. Is it some type of copy software or does it work with other burning software? Forgive me if I've over looked these answers in some really obvious place.

Re: Need Info

not familiar with dvdcloner

do you perhaps mean clonedvd?

elby's clonedvd 2.8.5.1 is the latest version of the clone dvd that is worth talking about. if you have clonedvd3 you have the garbage software from clonedvd.net and is NOT affiliated with elby at ALL.

anyway, on to your question: anydvd is a driver that decrypts in the background. basically as long as it's on, it's working. You don't use it to copy or anything. Having anydvd running in the background allowed clonedvd2 (or whichever program you choose) to see the disc as non-protected so they can rip the files to your hard drive.

this info could have been found with a quick forum search or on the anydvd site at www.slysoft.com

please check out the site and if you have any more questions we'll all be happy to help out!

Re: Need Info

vinceau, I tried DVDCloner a long time ago as well as a few other DVD Backup products and you wont find any better then AnyDVD & CloneDVD. Not only do these 2 products backup all the latest DVD's including ones with RipGuard & ArcCos Protections, but they update as soon as something new comes along. The support from Slysoft is excellent as you will see on these forums. I highly recommend purchasing AnyDVD & CloneDVD and I think your DVDCloner will soon be on your uninstall list.
