| Merging multiple *.VOBs into one VOB possible ? When I ripped a (double-layered) movie DVD to my hard disc all the VOBs from the DVD are ripped and saved independently. As a result multiple VOB files exist on my hard disc. From other ripping tools (e.g.DVDdecrpter) I know that there is a possibiity to merge all VOBs into ONE VOB. Is this possible in AnyDVD as well ? If yes: How ? |

| Re: Merging multiple *.VOBs into one VOB possible ? You're best off burning those vobs to a DVD. Put them in their respected folders and burn away. When ripping with DVD Decrypter you can change the file splitting to none (Options > File Mode > File Splitting > None). Keep in mind it is best to leave the vobs the way they are. You want to keep DVD compliance, not go against it. p.s. It is not possible with AnyDVD. AnyDVD is a decrypting tool. |

| Re: Merging multiple *.VOBs into one VOB possible ? pstein, By VOB files saved independently to hard disc, do you mean you got multiple VOBs in the same folder? If so, that is standard and you can just burn to disc using the full VIDEO_TS folder or the Video_TS.IFO and it will just pull all the files to the burn program. If you are saying that they ripped to separate folders, do they have the IFO, BUP files with each VOB? If separate folders with with all VOB, IFO, & BUP files, you could re-author with DVDShrink and merge the titles together using this method > http://forum.digital-digest.com/show...ith+free+tools. If only VOBs, you can try the VOBEdit merging of the VOBs and then try to see if you can create the IFOs & BUPs for those VOBs with IFOEdit. Not too sure it will work though.
