success I guess anydvd did good with the update. it works
process anydvd new ver enable / then dvd decrypter file mode / then dvd shink (control + o) then deep analisys an make shure you select dvd-5 on the settings then delet the #3 ch-2 english also I deleted the lenguage under comentaries folder. then back it up and burned at the same time since I got nero reloaded (it works with the dvd shink as the burning engine.

it has been reported to me the movie lords of dogtown unrated was copyed with CloneDVD 2.8.5.1 and AnyDVD 5.4.4.1

I successfully copied "Lords of DOgtown unrated" version with , "AnyDvd 5.4.1.1, DvdDecrypter, DvdShrink.

I was able to copy using Decrypter with a PSL file and Shrink, this is the PSL file, hope it helps. This is for the Unleashed Extended Cut edition R1.

I often wonder what has happened to Ollie. It seems he has skipped town lately. I guess if you had the money he does you would take extended leaves of absences also.

As you can see by the # of posts I have made I am still VERY new to this.
REGION 1 of this movie, and I am NOT able to use the method I have become so familiar with and THE EASE of using it.
ANYDVD and CLONEDVD combo.

I see many are trying other programs .. and having luck, but it is a MAZE to myself.

NO IDEA what a PLS2 file is.....

It was my understanding that DvdDecrypter disaperaed....

and do you not need to be running a NTSF sysytem to use DvdShrink ?

It would appear 2 updates of ANYDVD and still ... not a 100% success rate...

Hope the good folks get this figured out sooner then later. OR, is this the begining of the end, like winmx?

As a beginner I strongly suggest you download both AnyDVD and CloneDVD2 from http://www.slysoft.com and use these programs. Then you don't need to care about PLS2 files, Decrypter, Shrink, ....

backed up 'lords of dogtown'....us edition with the newest version of anydvd and clonedvd....once again the folks at anydvd solve any backup problems...quickly and efficiently....

no problems whatsoever....except that this movie is for s***....if you want the real deal imho....obtain...the documentary on the same subject a few years back called 'dogtown and z-boys'.......

I too have the unrated extended cut version, and have re-downloaded Clone and AnyDVD and still can't get past that point.

Strange, some forum members stated, that the latest AnyDVD version fixed the problem.

No. Maybe you guys are not having the *same* disc? (Edition, Region, Country?)
If this is the case, consider sending the IFO files to SlySoft to receive an update in a couple of hours...
Posting AnyDVD's information window here would reveal a lot useful information as well. (You can "copy & paste" from the info window)

My copy of "Unleashed: Lords of Dogtown" R1, US, Unrated just came from Amazon.

Ya, even AnyDVD v5.4.4.1, released 09 21, 2005 with CloneDVD v2.8.5.1, released 07 12, 2005 won't work. Got to 79% and stopped with the same error as noted in previous posts on this thread.

Rip attempt was with my lite-on 16X. Gonna try a rip with my Pioneer AO5 but I have to pull my Pioneer 110D out and reinstall the AO5 later tonight. I'm doing this because that old AO5 has ripped stuff that no other drive I've ever owned has been able to rip.

Chores to do now ... will post later tonight.

BTW I'm on Win2K, SP4

I am repeating myself here, but you should send IFOs to SlySoft, if you wish to receive an update...

The Unrated Extended Cut version AKA the "Unleashed" version (I think) only has a Widescreen version on the disk.
