AnyDVD Discuss, I'm still using 4.5.6.2.......... at Copy Movie forum; And it's still working fine for me including all the new Sony protections. My question is, is there any reason why I should upgrade right now? Thanks.

Although "never toch a running system" is true, I suggest to keep AnyDVD (and CloneDVD) up to date.
Updates aren't released "just for fun", there are reasons to do so. If people would keep their software updated, half of the posts here could be avoided.

Right you are! That seems to be a common issue within threads, that is why I always stay up to date on updates, bugs, etc.

No offense intended to the geniuses of Slysoft....

If you are leary of upgrading when you have a working machine, I recommend waiting 2 weeks after a new release to make sure there were no bugs.

There have been a few times where they made a release and the next day they had to release another one. And then of course they have released 5 versions in just a week or two.

Well, then just keep each version stored so you can always downgrade!

That might be true Pakratus, but how many software companies would bother to keep on working on it until it's right in such a short time?
