AnyDVD Discuss, I use AnyDVD and DVDshrink, is there any reason to get cloneDVD? at Copy Movie forum; DVDFab claims to remove Macrovision. Does anyone know if AnyDVD makes that claim? I've noticed Macro-backups to be a bit darker than the original using AnyDVD.

That is correct, Shrink does not have a burning engine and as such can not write files to DVD.

So what do most folks use out of DVDshrink, Nero? Nero's pretty spendy.

You could save the files in .iso format and use ImgBurn to write the image to DVD.

So ImgBurn will allow you to burn from DVDShrink to disk and run an your DVD player afterwards or ???? Would the .iso format burn play most DVD players?

I think this is the best way. I now only use Shrink to rip the movie to an ISO and the ImgBurn to burn to DVD.

If shrink shows that compression is needed ( even after going for Movie only and removing languages, subtitles etc) I then use DVDdecrypter to make an ISO,
mount the ISO with Daomon tools and then Rebuild with DVD Rebuilder.

There is no longer any need to use any transcoder.
