| Re: Hitch Well I tried the new 5.2.7.1 of AnyDVD... still did not copy correctly... PS2 gives an error while loading the disk... Any ideas? I used Copy to DVD program to burn it. Should I maybe be using CloneDVD straight from movie disk to the dual layer disk? Oh and there is a weird folder on the original disk... Called Jacket_P It contains 3 mp2 files. When I copy they are no longer there... is that the invalid dvd structure? If so it is definitely not being fixed. I'm leaving for the week and would love to bring a copy of it with me. Could my problem just be that because Hitch is a sony movie that the sony PS2 won't like a copy of it? TheSisko |

CloneDVD works great with AnyDVD..I recommend purchasing it. The best support you will ever get for your buck. I too tried many other DVD Copy programs, but I always came back to using AnyDVD & CloneDVD...so I purchased them both. Constant updates keep you ready for whatever protection is behind the next corner. (Example: Hitch)

| Re: Hitch Well a dual layer is what I use for Copy #1 anyways... maybe remove the useless stuff like previews but otherwise I like to keep the disk quality as is. Compression on Coach Carter made for some psychadelic ties that the coach wore... and the credits at the end were a bit psychadelic too... lol Anyhow, that's my too bits... I'm guessing it is hard to copy because there are way too many copy protections on it and that stupid Wrong DVD file structure doesn't help at all... I've removed all the bogus audio and video files using DVD Shrink. Hopefully that will solve my problem... Can I reauthor it and just take everything that is left? Will that give me essentially a 1:1 copy of everything useful? TheSisko |

| Re: Hitch I couldn't agree more with post#82 Slysoft is the best support the industry has ever had always rapid results. Quality is well asured and very strong decryption of almost all protection methods. What can I say Slysoft is the only quality product still updating against new protections. My Regards ![]() "Keep up the good work Slysoft"

| Re: Hitch I tried copying "Hitch" with AnyDVD with DVD X Copy Platinum/ 1click dvd copy and Intervideo DVD Copy and I got no results. I got good news. It appears that These DVD movies from SONY/Columbia are not protected with MacroVision. SO that means that you can copy it with a DVD recorder/VCR with no problems. ![]() |

| Re: Hitch I also tested Hitch (R1 Widescreen). It is easily backed up with DVDDeCryptor 3540 (output files) - and the resulting files are processed just fine by DVDShrink with no problems. This was done without AnyDVD at all. I also assume the files could be processed and burned with CloneDVD2 with no problems, but I did not test that. |

| Re: Hitch New to all this and shopping for software like AnyDVD. And I'll be damned if Hitch wasn't the first movie I tried to backup!! DVDXCopy Platinum, Simple mode would always hang at 80% of the copy to disk. Uninstalled AnyDVD and installed DVD Region + CSS Free...absolutely no problems and had I had my credit card, would have bought it and never looked back at AnyDVD. But, I came back to see if it was me or anyone else was having the problem. Despite the flat out arrogance of Ollie saying that there was no way it's a problem with AnyDVD, I'm giving AnyDVD a second look because of the response from SlySoft. I'll try the new version and if it works, I'm sold. |

More often then not it's user error, he shares his extensive knowledge and time voluntarily, you shouldn't describe it as arrogance but rather confidence in what he is saying. BTW I copied Hitch Region 1, movie and menu's, without the slightest problem using latest versions of Clone and AnyDVD.

), I can't comment on AnyDVD's performance with DVDXcopy, as I simply do not know and do not care. I tried XCopy & XCopy Express a long time ago and it sucked big time. Never used it again.I am glad, that it is SlySoft's job (and not mine!) to make AnyDVD work with all the software around. I am not sure how much research and time they invest in a dead product (how long is it dead now? One year?).

Anyone can understand if you're frustrated and having trouble with trying to make a backup. However, it will not win friends or more help to saying things like that about people.
