I'm a new member here.I wanted to start with a hello,
and thank you in advance for your help/ and or advice.

i'm trying to copy a movie i downloaded. Format is listed .avi.
But in description , its described as dvd rip.After copying with nero
in copy a video cd mode...says can't display. unsupported.
I've installed several codecs prior.
Before I try again in dvd mode is there something i'm missing?

thx for your help. hate to sound umm..dumb, but i'm trying to
figure this out ,and learn something new in the process.

The first thing you're going to figure out is that the mods will lock this thread. Sadly, we can't discuss pirated material in this forum.

I was just trying to figure out how to burn it and take back my disk space.
I appreciate the hint. ..really I didn't even think about it. pirated. hmmm
has such an unpleasant sound.

Since your admitted to downloading a "dvd rip", then there will be no discussion or help here dealing with pirated copyrighted material. Please read the forum rules. Any other further insidents will result in more drastic action.
