Not all downloaded movies are illegal. See here for example:
http://www.archive.org/details/feature_films

More than likely it is in a format your player does not recognize; and is NOT in DVD format. If it IS an illegal download, then we can be of no further help as that is against the rules.

But remember, when you assume, you make an "ASS" out of "U" and "ME"!!!

(just giving the benefit of the doubt)

Re: help needed for playind DVD-R

I didn't say or imply "assumed" anywhere in my post. It may or may not be a "legal" or "illegal" download. I don't care. I stated that the majority of inquries posted, IMO, are people with "illegal" downloads, so assume whatever you want....

Geez, my last post was a joke to ya bilbo65! Didn't you see the smiley?

Get a sense of humor. But if you want to get serious...

You don't him to buy the DVD. It may not have a DVD option, see my link for public domain films. And then you said most posts are for illegal content. Well just convict him already. No where did he imply his content was, and it has been posted here that we all should give the OPs the "benefit of the doubt" when replying unless it becomes obvious that something illegal is going on.

Not everyone is a thief my friend.
