Garfield, A Tale Of Two Kitties

Just picked up the new Garfield movie for the kids and I can not back it up or even get it to play on my pc. It does however, play fine in all of our DVD players. Using AnyDVD 6.0.8.0 and CloneDVD2 2.9.0.1 but getting nowhere.
AnyDVD's interface says it did its thing but it took a long time and cloneDVD just plain says it can't read the DVD. Anyone else encounter this problem with this or any other titles?

Unfortunately paraphrasing and summarizing Error Notifications makes it difficult to troubleshot problems.

It would be helpful if you could provide the Error Code and the exact complete Error Notification narrative that you receive.

I used anydvd and clonedvd without any problems. You just might have a BAD disk. I would return this dvd for another and see if you can back the dvd . Good luck.

MJ939 –

In reviewing other CD Freaks Forum postings concerning DVDManager Invalid BookPartVersion Error Notifications it appears that this Error Notification is related to errors in the VIDEO_TS.IFO Files.

Suggest sending the .IFO files to SlySoft/Elaborate Bytes for analyst. Below is a link to a CD Freaks Forum posting that provides detailed information on how to correctly send .IFO files to SlySoft/Elaborate Bytes ->

Re: Garfield, A Tale Of Two Kitties

turn anydvd off and copy the .ifo files from you DVD to a subfolder on your hdd
zip and email them to Slysoft and they will examine and if there is new protection they will release a new version of AD

(to view file extensions go to any folder in windows--tools--folder options--view--untick hide extensions)

Re: Garfield, A Tale Of Two Kitties

I had a problem with CLick and Garfield 2. Both backed up successfully, but when played on dvd player, they froze in the beginning, about 1 minute in to the movie. I tried a new dvd for both, but they both still did the same thing.
