Firmware update - Club CDFreaks

Hi Everyone....

I have searched this site but couldn't come up with anything. I have a Phillips DVD +/- RW DVD8701 (Rev 5D24) Where can I check to make sure the firmware is updated for this?

Have you gone to manufactor site and contact their support?

No, I didn't know if that is what you had to do ? I think mine is ok, but just wanted to check..

It appears that you are unaware that The CD Freak Forum has a dedicated Philips DVD Burner Forum (http://club.cdfreaks.com/forumdisplay.php?f=92).

It would be more appropriate to inquire in the CD Freaks Philips DVD Burner Forum for information on your Phillips DVD8701 DVD Burner than inquiring in the CD Freaks AnyDVD Forum. I believe if you inquire in the CD Freaks Philips DVD Burner Forum you will find that your Phillips DVD8701 is actually a BenQ DW1640.
