Feature Request :: Keep Trailers remove Warnings

One of the options you can choose with AnyDVD is to remove trailers and adverts (by adverts I am assuming means like FBI warnings and stuff). I was wondering if there is a way I could keep the trailers but remove the adverts or warnings.

I like have the trailers (or atleast the options to fast forward them, which is possible) but the warnings I could do without.

If this is already possible, please let me know. Thanks.

The trailers are kept on the disc, they are just skipped. You can still play them manually from the DVD menu.

Re: Feature Request :: Keep Trailers remove Warnings

Along these lines though, many of the warnings are now being built into the ifos and are not separate on the disc so you can't just leave them off.

You can use VOB Blanker to remove them, but it's a pain. I realize it's a problem to identify what's being displayed as it's graphics, not just text - that's probably why VOB Blanker gives you the preview function - so you can visually see the graphics and decide what you want to blank out.

However, most publishers tend to use the same warning screens so it would be nice if there was a way to identify them and automatically blank them. Maybe an algorithm could be developed to identify a probable warning screen so subtle changes in the screen wouldn't slip by the filter?

Just a thought.

At least AnyDVD removes the user prohibitions, so you can quickly skip these warnings and messages on your HTPC.
