Error message when updating to 5.7.2.1 - Club CDFreaks

Happy New Year's everyone (and I'm only about 1/2 as hungover as I thought I'd be...)

I updated AnyDVD this am, and got the following error message when installing: "Error opening the file C:\windows\system32\ELBYCDIO.dll for writing". About - Retry - Ignore. Hitting Retry didn't seem to do much

I rebooted and tried again and it seemed to install OK the second time.

Windows XP SP2
1 GB ram with 60% free
65 GB available on HD

Not a problem really, but thought I'd share this. I didn't see anything about this on the Slysoft FAQ page.

Hi

It's rare that any problems arise like this. I'd be guessing, but maybe if you had 'old' AnyDVD auto update activated. It was trying to alert you to an udate being available at the same time as you were trying to update.

Exit all SlySoft related programs (CloneCD, CloneCDTray, CloneDVD) and try again. This should work.
