AnyDVD Discuss, DVD XCopy vs. CloneDVD at Copy Movie forum; I have been using DVD XCopy Gold for over a year now. I'm very impressed by the programs' simplicity. If I have a movie I want to back up that's more than 5 GB's, I'll split the movie onto two disks so I won't lose

DVD XCopy vs. CloneDVD

I have been using DVD XCopy Gold for over a year now. I'm very impressed by the programs' simplicity. If I have a movie I want to back up that's more than 5 GB's, I'll split the movie onto two disks so I won't lose any video/sound quality which is very important to me. Recently, I have been having problems copying a few movies. I downloaded Anydvd and DVD XCopy still wouldn't copy the movies. (I had to copy them using Roxio's Easy Media Creator 7). I have read several threads on this issue and a lot of people recommend using CloneDVD. My question is, can anyone familiar with BOTH products tell me the pros and cons of switching to CloneDVD? Thanks!!!

Re: DVD XCopy vs. CloneDVD

how about the fact that cloneDVD2 is still being updated and has great support while DVDX Copy is DEAD, obsolete, and will never be updated and has no support.

Get with the 21 st Century DVD x copy is old technology. Also you can not make a copy of a copy, and in most cases you are burning two discs
Download any dvd and clone dvd they give a 21 day free trial, try it you can not beat that.
I am certain once you try it you will be conviced.
I own both DVD x copy and ANY DVD and Clone DVD and there is no comparision between the two products
Good burning

Re: DVD XCopy vs. CloneDVD

DVD X Copy is no longer in business. Clone DVD is very up to date. You know how technology is new today old tomorrow. There will be new right protection and DVD X Copy won't be able to do it.
Try to copy The Forgotten and The Grudge with DVD X Copy and you will see it for yourself.
(Clone DVD must use with Any DVD)
